Following the pink numbers, see just how easy it is submit your own tutorial!
- Your Name: that’s where you want to write your real name or (preferred) your business/blog name.
- Your URL: here you copy/paste the entire URL of the blog post that leads to the tutorial.
- Your Email: is your email {snicker}.
- Post Title: yes! it has to be unique!! Meaning, create a nice and catchy title for your awesome tutorial post!
- Post Tags: those are all relevant terms such as sewing, DIY, tutorial, easy project, etc. Separate with commas.
- 1+1=: huh? Haha!! That’s to proof that you are not a robot! So just type in 2.
- Post Category: select one of the most relevant category. Chances are we will be adding your tutorial to more categories once we review it!
- Post Content: NOW we’re talking! That’s where YOU get to shine! Describe what you are submitting, what type of tutorial is it, what are the needed materials, the time to finish it, the skill level, etc. Anything you like to write in order to make your tutorial stand out and that makes the readers want to click through to your site! If in doubt, shoot us an email! We’re here to help!
- Upload an Image: oh the image! The image, especially if it’s only one is soooo important! You are basically selling your product (or tutorial in that case) through your image! Choose the best, well lit, sharp, beautiful image you have! Oh and make sure to be within size requirements. If not, you can edit your image for free with picmonkey! We use them daily!
A few veeerrryy important things to go by before you submit:
- Please only submit your own tutorial (or a guest writer on your blog)
- You must be the owner of the image (or must have permission to post)
- Your tutorial must be complete and include all necessary steps
- Your tutorial must be free!
- It must be family friendly
- Cannot lead to a selling post (affiliate links within your blog are fine! Hey, we all have to survive somehow, right?)
