Make upcycled sweater Christmas ornaments! Unless you are amazing at laundry, like me you have probably accidently felted one of your wool sweaters by putting it on a hot wash. That is when your adult (often favourite) sweater shrinks in the wash to a size only fit for a toddler.
Upcycled Sweater Christmas Ornaments
Well not all is lost you can turn these felted sweaters into Christmas Ornaments. These ornaments are super cute, so soon you will be deliberately shrinking your woolen sweaters just so you can make them.
I used my Christmas cookie cutters for this DIY. The cookie cutters were used as templates for the shapes of my cute Christmas decorations.
I have loads of cutters from snowmen, gingerbread men to simple Christmas trees even a moose. Yes I consider a moose suitable for a Christmas decoration. If you don’t happen to have a Christmas cookie cutter collection, I have drawn round mine and you can download these templates from my site.
I warn you that is quite an addictive craft, I have a growing collection of ornaments. Lucky for me I have lots of felted sweaters.
