With this upcycle tutorial, I show you an easy way to transform an adult work short to a lined toddler dress keeping the original closures and hem of the shirt.
Materials Needed:
Adult Oxford Shirt
Front Bodice Pattern (Self Drafted – shown on blog)
Commercial Pattern – I particularly like Simplicity 1624 )
Back Bodice Pattern (Optional)
Sewing Machine
Serger (Optional)
Thread (color to match shirt)
Fabric Scissors
Pinking Shears (Optional)
Pins
Straight Ruler
Marking Tool
Curve Ruler
Pattern Weights
Seam Ripper
Iron / Ironing Board
